I've just received my shiny new Gear VR (2016) with my replacement, non-exploding Note 7. My question is, has anyone successfully managed to tether via PC to VRidge (or Trinus) via USB? Some say that it will work, some say that it won't.
In my experience, plugging the device into the Gear, then using the passthrough merely charges the device. The PC doesn't register it. I tried it also with the bundled OTG connector via the passthrough. Same thing. I may have answered my own question already, but I wondered if anyone had actually got it working and I'm being a numpty?!
