Galaxy S6 Water Damage & dm-verity verification failed.

A few nights ago, I dropped my phone in the toilet. :( The screen flickered and shut off as I pulled it out. I left it in a bag of rice overnight, restraining from the urge to turn it on until morning... When morning came, it would not turn on. So I hit it with a blow dryer, then back into the bag of rice multiple times.

This morning, I tried charging it and amazingly the screen turned on a showed that it's charging! But it would get stuck on the boot screen. So I booted to recovery mode. Immediately it tried applying a system update. The update failed with the infamous yellow exclamation point above a dead android robot.

It now boots directly to recovery mode every time. I am unable to apply updates from either ADB or the SD card, "Update from external storage is disabled." Wiping the cache partition solved nothing. Only options left are to "Mount /system", "View recovery logs", or "Wipe data/factory reset". The latter is the absolute last resort - last backup was in June. Bottom of this screen says:
"Supported API: 3
dm-verity verification failed...
Need to check DRK first..."

Also, I can boot into "Odin Mode", but have no idea if this can help. This is a Verizon Galaxy S6.
The primary objective is to restore the phone without losing data.

Version 6.0.1
SM-G920V
G920VVRU4CPH1

Any ideas?
