I have recently gained a note edge through a friend since he upgraded after it kept restarting. The issues occurred due to updating to marshmallow. The phone became unusable as it would restart every couple of minutes so I decided to look up how to downgrade the software and came across an article telling how to do it for the s6 edge, I followed the steps, I downloaded lollipop and kitkat (just in case) for my device, the usb drivers and odin. I went into download mode and tried using the ap on lollipop, the process failed. Tried again with kitkat and got the same error message. FAIL! (Auth). I tried again with everything put in and same thing happened. This soft bricked the phone. I tried using a pit file for the edge and that gave accessibility to wiping the phone and cache. Which I did twice and now I can't boot up that menu anymore. I tried using Kies (both versions) to fix the firmware but it couldn't detect my device and I tried to root the phone by using the kingroot desktop app. Also didn't work. I have tried to do bl , ap, cs, and csc all separate but they just kept failing. Every time I try to boot up the device it goes to the Samsung edge screen, restarts, does it again, then shuts off completely and won't turn on so I have to take out the battery to turn it on. Each time I have tried downloading I had to take out the battery. Is there anyway I can fix the edge?
