USB OTG and charging at the same time, is it possible on moto x play?

Hello,

I've just got moto x play, great phone.
Just one issue - no usb-otg/host mode with charging at the same time?
(coming from xperia where I had working usb-otg + charging)
Is this feature possible and it's just a matter of using different kernel/rom?
