I love android 'cause I can find ingredients in XDA to cook some kernels with flavors of my-own to improve the device for my own need. Sharing here so it maybe be useful for others.
This kernel is based on the source code by The Sickness
Some flavors from me:
- update source code using the latest PD2 source code from SamSung
- add Row IO Scheduler
- disable kernel debug to save battery
- build with UberTC 4.9 for its reliability
- remove some governors from the source because there were too many ;)
The kernel is smooth, cool and battery friendly. I am quite satisfied with it :victory:!
Instruction:
- flash using recovery
Download:
Forest_Noble_V1
Credits:
- Full credits goes to @The Sickness for his source code and everything!:good::good::good::good::good:
- @arter97 & @harise100 for Row IO Scheduler
- many other wonderful developers from XDA!
Sourced: attached.
