How to factory reset a rooted device?

Hi all,

So I have a rooted Galaxy S7 G930F

G930FXXU1APEQ firmware

I've been having terrible SoT so my last resort is to factory reset but I'm wondering how this works with a rooted device? Do I do it through the phone settings? Will I lose root? Do I do it through recovery?
