Goes Google Auto-Sync on startup with the Note5?

I have a password PIN enabled on the Note5 - it was lost/stolen last night. I am wondering if it will auto-sync with google when powered up (before PIN is entered). example - someone finds phone, powers up google auto-syncs and I can check my google locations to see where it is).
