I've been unable to focus on close objects with my Note 3. Currently I'm using Temasek's CM13 port but even with stock rom or S7 edge ports I've had this issue.
I click to focus the image and it does for 1 second but then automatically defocus again. I can't get it to focus no matter what.

It's somehow like this but it doesn't focus up close, being better at focusing from far away.
