Internal memory

Have recently rooted my wife's phone and installed Bliss ROM all is running well only issues is her internal storage still says its full at 7G.. I know she love to take lots of pics but she has a new 128G SD card. Before flashing I wiped cache, data,delvic,system and factory rest. Was I suppose to also wipe internal storage? I did that once before on my S2 and ended up soft bricking so am asking before I try
