Recently me and my younger brother rooted his Xperia E3, which seemed quite easy. However looking at the process for the H815 G4 it seems a lot more complex, plus as it's my device I really don't wanna brick it. XD
I've spent a good few hours reading the forums on rooting and installing custom ROMs on the G4 but it's very overwhelming and all of them are written for experienced people, so I'd like to know the steps - in simple terms - and what your recommendations are for a new rooter/flasher ect.
I'm on Marshmallow V20a-234-30 [MRA58K] with no updates since March and appalling battery life at the moment (struggling to hit 1.5hrs SOT) :(
