Hi, I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy J7 running stock Android 5.1.1.
There is a problem with the Google Maps app. It shows the blue location dot nicely but around it there is no blue arrow that normally would be showing which direction the device is pointing to.
I've tried clearing the cache, changing the language to the one with different character set and back to English and still no luck.
I've installed a 3rd party Compass App and got a welcome message that 'This device does not have magnetic sensor'.
Would you know what can be done in this case?
UPDATE Upon further research I've found that Samsung J7 has no magnetic sensor. So I guess nothing can be done...
